I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping individuals strive to be the best version of themselves they can be. My goal is to create a safe, warm, non-judgmental environment where a client can come to seek validation for their individual feelings and situations. Every human being has struggles, and I believe everybody is capable of creating the healthiest life for themselves. Sometimes people just need a little empathy and guidance, which is what I am here to provide.
I work with clients by utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT to help them recognize the faulty thought patterns that could be leading to their symptoms. For clients managing mood-related challenges, I incorporate bipolar disorder cognitive behavioral therapy to help them identify triggers, regulate emotions, and build more balanced thinking patterns. I work collaboratively with each client to take a closer look at the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that might be contributing to their struggles, as well as recognize and reframe these thought patterns.
Ideally, my clients would be motivated to change and willing to fully participate in the process of therapy to reach their goals.
