What We Treat – Work Issues
Work stress can cause damage to your overall health, therapy can help.

Work is a huge part of your life. In the United States, most are spending at least a third of their day working, while many spend more hours than that. According to the American Institute of Stress, 83% of US workers say they suffer from daily work-related stress and 39% of US workers say that workload is the main cause of their stress.
From a terrible manager to burnout, to lack of resources at work, to finding work, to layoffs, to demotions, and even promotions, work-related activity produces a lot of stress for many. You are not alone in feeling this way. In addition, with the growth of technology and AI, there is fear and anxious feelings about how to keep a job or obtain a new one.
Although work will never be perfect and have moments of tough times, it shouldn’t be a place that’s leading to so much stress that it’s affecting your health.
For those struggling to find a new job after a layoff, understand that it’s not a reflection on you and that it’s normal to not feel mentally or emotionally well during this time.
Gaining clarity and shifting your mindset starts in therapy. Working with a clinical professional doesn’t necessarily mean you have a diagnosis, it means you’re a human being going through a life event where you need some guidance.
Therapy can help you feel heard, let you unpack what’s bothering you, help you find what brings you joy in the workplace and how to go about obtaining that, and help you find ways to cope and thrive in your professional career and in your relationships.
At Serenium we envision a world where there is mental and emotional wellness for all and we’re on a deeper mission to provide people the mental and emotional support needed to cultivate their well-being through all of life’s events.
Serenium is a brand focused on therapy and wellness where serenity and calmness meet balance and equilibrium. A place where Mind, Body, Soul, and Emotion flow as one, into a lasting effect to feel whole and complete.
