I am a compassionate National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, specializing in Clinical Mental Health, from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Science from Hofstra University. With over a decade of experience in healthcare settings, I have developed a strong ability to support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
My clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation and self-esteem. I strive to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns while developing practical tools to improve daily functioning and overall well-being.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, while also incorporating elements of Motivational Interviewing and strengths-based approaches. I meet clients where they are, helping them build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful lasting change.
I believe therapy is a powerful space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but it is also an act of strength. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges at their own pace. It is never too early or too late for clients to improve how they feel and engage with the world around them, and choosing to seek support is a meaningful step they can be proud of.
