Joseph Vacchiano is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor with over 25 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse service space. He’s passionate about working with his clients on changing their focus from why a situation is happening to what they can do about the situation. His work includes providing comprehensive addiction recovery care to support clients in building healthier, more empowered lives.
Whether it’s the stress of uncertain times in the larger world or your own smaller world, he believes it’s understanding what you can do about something and taking that action that leads to true healing. The why may come in time, but he believes therapy can help you find and take better control of the now.
