Heather is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, families, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Heather believes that every individual brings unique strengths and experiences to the counseling process and takes a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize their abilities, build confidence, and create meaningful and lasting change.

Her approach to counseling is person-centered and collaborative, while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based on each client’s individual needs and goals. She believes counseling should be a collaborative process in which clients feel respected and empowered to determine their direction of growth.
